Frederiko Aguilar was born in Los Angeles, California. He studied drama at Excelsior High School in Norwalk, Ca. He continued his classes in Drama and Radio-TV at Cerritos College, until his time came to serve in the U.S. Navy in 1968. His duty included, ship journalist, while serving his tour in Vietnam.
After the service, he continued his education at Fresno State University, and worked as a radio Disc-Jockey. In 1982, he developed his own public access cable TV show in Norwalk, Ca. He produced, wrote, and directed, as well as starred, in his own comedy show. Fred worked as a non-union background performer for motion pictures and television, until he was eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild union in 1992. In 1995, he was appointed chairperson, and hosted “Latino Heritage Month” at the Screen Actors Guild; paying tribute to long time Latino Actors who performed in featured films as early as 1930’s. He also served on the SAG committee for the Union ‘Background Artist’. In 1995, he continued to work in cable TV as a writer, director, and performer in Seal Beach, Ca. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997, and worked as camera operator, news tape editor, and operator in master control production at local network affiliated TV news stations.
He has since become an Author of a Novel.
