Desert King News and Reviews
"This book was riveting. I personally know something of Vegas and Mr. Aguilar captures the sensuality and undercurrent of poison sitting just below the surface. I had an intimate ride with Frankie Santos and held my breath as he cheated death and women. This book is a movie and this author will be around for a long time as he has captured the guts of the Latino underbelly...Strap in boys its going to be a bumpy ride!!! Can't wait for more, Frankie hurts so good."

"I got your book last week, and I just couldn't put it down. I finished it today, and boy did you leave me hanging. When is the next book coming out? Let me know so I can get it too. You really did great on this one. I really enjoyed the book, but I want to know what happens to Frank, his mom and the bad guys, and Carissa and her gang."

"I've read the book in two sittings, the first sitting required me to go two-thirds into Frankie Santos' world. The characters
were real, no surprise, and I remembered all of them, which in many books I read I have to really recollect who was who. Really
loved the middle of the book, the day to day goings on of Frankie and the people he caroused with were amusing. Really enjoyed seeing the family pics spread throughout the pages. I'm very impressed that you did not put a lot of action and words to the 'hook-ups' Frankie encountered. Hope you continue in that same vein in the next book. Your vivid imagination and character
development was all that was needed. I love Las Vegas and I looked forward to what was going to happen to Frankie and his family every time he left Mary's house headed for his casino off the strip or headed to the strip. Tortured, I'll have to wait for the next book to know what fate has for Frankie. Continued success!!!"
